An ”under the hood” look at scores from films starting with the James Bond series. In these episodes composer Jason Frederick and professional trumpeter and the man behind ”Q The Music” (the world‘s leading James Bond Tribute Concert) and Film Score lecturer and historian Gergely Hubai attempt to explain the techniques, secrets, methods and mastery behind the scores you love so much. The aim is to dive deeply in an almost documentary style to explain these scores in depth as well as how they are created musically to non-musicians.

We're back to wrap up our look at the Dr No. soundtrack - this time delving deeper into the cues themselves.
* Who really sang Mango Tree and why are there several people claiming it?
* Did you know one cue on the soundtrack often labelled as "not used in the film" actually WAS used in the French print? Gergely shocks us by revealing which.
* We take a closer look into the origin of the "bleeps and blops" of the opening credits
* Is Monty Norman actually a genius for incorporating subtle Chinese references into his writing?
Join us to find out!
We'll be returning for one more month to Dr No next month with a double part release on the James Bond Theme - the court case and the orchestration and composition.

Would be cool to have an episode on the tracks That Never made it to the movies final Edit. The street chase from Thunderball, the pieces from Yolt, Dusk at Piz Gloria from OHMSS, the action bit for the final encounter With Teehee in Love and let die, the music from the "Flowers for Theresa" from FYEO That wasn't used, and obviously the two cues from The Scake to hell from GoldenEye. What is the story behind these cues/tracks?
